Why Drdsha lets you chat without an email

You can join Drdsha in seconds without an email address. Here’s how it works, why the app is built that way, and the one thing you must do so you don’t lose your account.

Two ways to join

  • Join without email — choose a display name and password, select your gender and confirm you’re 18+. Drdsha generates a login ID for you.
  • Create an account — use your email address as your login ID, with your own password.

Either way, other members see your display name — not your login ID or email.

Why no email?

Asking for an email is a habit, not a necessity. Many people don’t want a chat app tied to the inbox they use for work, banking and family. Joining without email means less personal data collected, a faster start, and no messages in your inbox — because there’s no address to send them to.

How the generated login ID works

When you join without email, Drdsha creates a random login ID that looks like an email address — it ends in @anon.anonymouschat.tech — but isn’t a real inbox. Together with your password, it’s how you sign in on any device, in the Android app or the web app.

The catch: there’s no email recovery

Without an email, there’s no way to reset a forgotten password by email. Right after sign-up, the app shows your login ID and password — copy them and keep them somewhere safe, such as a password manager. Accounts created without email can only be recovered if you saved these details.

Pseudonymous, not untraceable

No email doesn’t mean no records. Drdsha keeps standard account and security logs — which may include IP address and device information — to prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. That protects everyone, and it means the Community Guidelines still apply. The Privacy Policy lists exactly what is collected.

Everything works without email

  • Chat by text, photo and voice note.
  • Go online and appear in the online list.
  • Block and report anyone.
  • Export a copy of your data, or delete your account, from Settings.

Prefer an email login?

If you’d rather sign in with an email address you already use, choose Create an account at sign-up instead. Both kinds of account have the same features; the difference is only how you sign in.
